i signed my contract with the red cross in santa barbara today. part of my agreement requires that i deploy to a national disaster at some point. i'm hoping it's a fire or cat stuck in a tree and not another hurricane katrina. with our pissed off planet who knows.

i'll be teaching k-7th graders about the science behind said disasters and how to be prepared for them if they occur. especially tree cats. it's going to be a TON of work, but i'm excited. i need something stable and crazy to wake me up from the college daze.
